Born 1887 in Sturmhuebel, a small village in East Prussia, that in the time from 1772 till 1945 belonged to the Kingdom of Prussia and Germany. After the end of second world war in 1945, it became part of Poland. Sturmhuebel is now called Grzęda. There she grew up with 2 sisters (Maria and Berta) and 3 brothers (Paul, Valentin and Leo). She immigrated in 1906 to the USA and lived till her dead in Chicago, Bridgeport. In 1908 she married Bronislaw (Bruno) Zawadzki, a young guy from Poland. Together they had 5 children: Marianna, Joseph, Bruno Leo, Chester Raymond and Theodore Paul.
