Henry E. Beavers, 74, of Bedford, passed away at 9:27 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at his residence.
Born April 15, 1941, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Thurman and Juanita (Robbins) Beavers. He married Marlene E. Terrell, June 13, 1966.
Henry was a farmer and a member of White River Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Beavers, Bedford; daughters, Melissa Lynn Beavers, Bedford, Juanita Louise (Jeff) Combs, Bedford, Patricia Ann (Brian) Morgan, Orleans, Jessica Elaine (Stephen) Jaggers, Mitchell, Anna Marie (Roger) Dotts, Mitchell; grandchildren, Megan and Wesley Deckard, Keisha Reathaford, Austin Morgan, Andre'a, Sabrina, and Daiquiri Jaggers, Mallie Dotts; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Hash, Bloomington, Katie Nichols, Salem, Wilma Smith, Medora, Barbara Lambert, Medora, Betty Cochran, Medora, Virginia Goens, Bedford, Ivy Tincher, Shoals, Lecia Wischmeier, Leesville, Sarah Ritter, Judah, Sherry Myers, Leesville, Rita Reynolds, Medora and Alice Thompson, Leesville
His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1 a.m. Friday, May 8, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Bob Bierbaum and Reverend Dwight Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Dixon Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
