EMILY ROSE EVENER, age 21 years of Pittsford, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on June 20, 1993, in Hillsdale the daughter of Jennifer E. (Adams) and Wayne L. Evener. Emily graduated from Waldron High School in 2011 and worked at Golden Years Adult Care Home in Osseo. She was a vibrant, outgoing young lady who loved to help people, go swimming and spend time with family and friends.
Emily is survived by her son, Gary Lee Wireman III of Pittsford, her parents, Jennifer E. (Beau Tarsha) Evener of Morenci and Wayne L. Evener of Pittsford, brother, Cody Evener of Morenci, sister, Amber Evener of Devils Lake, half brothers and sisters, Gabby Evener of Moscow, Jadin and Brendon LaRoe, and Alexis Evener all of Camden, paternal grandparents, Rose Mary Adams and John Evener both of Pittsford, maternal grandparents, Margaret VanHook of Osseo and George Adams of Litchfield, nephews, Brycen and Hayden Ward of Devils Lake and numerous aunts, uncles and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Arlis VanHook. Cremation has taken place. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place Friday, December 19, 2014, from 2:30 -5:30 P.M. at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson followed by a short prayer service led by Pastor Randy Eilders. Emily was Cremated, and is with her family.
PITTSFORD TWP., MI – Two women were killed in a Pittsford Township crash Monday afternoon, police said.
The single-vehicle crash was reported at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 15 on Pittsford Road near Losey Road in Hillsdale County, according to a statement from the Michigan State Police.
Police said the driver, 21-year-old Emily Evener of Pittsford, and 24-year-old Shandi Sisko of Hudson, a backseat passenger, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two more passengers who police have not identified were injured in the crash and were transported to Hillsdale Community Health Center for treatment, the statement said.
"Preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle was traveling southbound on Pittsford Road when the vehicle left the roadway, rolled multiple times and came to rest in a cornfield", the statement said. information from the Hillsdale Dailey News.
