This non-famous daughter of motion study experts Frank and Lillian Gilbreth was born somewhat prematurely after her mother fell down a flight of stairs at home, 3 months after receiving her Ph.D. from Brown University. Sadly, she was stillborn and not given a name.

She was buried quietly without ceremony in this church cemetery near her parents' home. There is no discussion of her birth in her father's journal or her mother's, and the tragic incident was never publicly discussed as it was too painful for the family members to recall.

Her brother Fred arrived eleven months later.

Gravesite Details

I spoke to a church employee 6/1/15. Both plots 264 and 792 were in use for children in 1915; exact records of burial location are not available and there are no headstones.
