Betty Lou Woodham, a resident of East Main Court, Headland, died Wednesday morning, June 3, 2015 in a Dothan hospital from injuries sustained in a fire earlier in her home. She was 74.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 5, 2015, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel.

Graveside services will follow in the Balkum Cemetery, near Tumbleton. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Friday at the mortuary.

Miss Woodham, daughter of the late Henry Malcom Woodham and Virginia Goodman Woodham, was born and reared in the Oakey Grove Community.

She moved to Headland in 1988 where she was an active member of the First Baptist Church. Miss Woodham was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union and Faith Sunday School of First Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Myrtle Schofield and her brother, James Edward Woodham.
