Grace S. Venier



The funeral for Mrs. Grace S. Venier, 63, wife of Henry C. Venier, 1844 Wantagh Ave., Wantagh, Long Island, found dead Friday morning, was 9:45 a.m. today at St. Francis D. Chantel Church, Wantagh, L.I. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.



The Wantagh Abbey, Inc., 3374 Park Ave., Wantagh, was in charge of arrangements.



McL ellan Funeral Hoe was in chard of local arrangements.



Acc ording to state police, Mrs. Venier was found dead at about 9 a.m. Friday (Nov. 28, 1975) at Anchordown Motel by a nephew, James Bryon McKee of Long Island. She had left the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Burns on Hamilton Street, Ogdensburg, about 8:30 p.m. Thursday to return to the motel where she was staying. She had complained of chest pains before departing.



Dr. Hugh Frame of Morristown, a county coroner was at the scene. After an autopsy, he attributed death to a coronary attack.



The Veniers were visiting relatives in Ogdensburg for the holidays.



Survivi ng besides her husband are twin sons, Peter and Paul, both of Wantagh; one daughter, Suzanne Venier of Wantagh; two sisters, Mrs. Francis (Alice) Burns, city, and Mrs. Alvin (Catherine) McKee of Malone; one brother, Richard Ste. Marie of Manchester, N.H.; and four grandchildren.



Mr s. Venier was born in Malone, April 25, 1912, daughter of Cassimer and Cornelia Bessette Ste. Marie.



She married Henry C. Venier on June 4, 1936 in Malone, with the Rev. Msgr. Compeau officiating.
