Younger sister of famed comic Lou Costello, and wife of actor Joe Kirk (1903-1975), was the youngest born child to Sebastion Cristillo and Helen Cristillo on December 8, 1912 in Paterson, NJ. She was also sister to eldest Cristillo child Anthony Sebastian Cristillo, known professionally in Hollywood as 'Pat Costello'. Marie later married Ignazio Curcuruto, known professionally in Hollywood as Joe Kirk, and the couple had two children. Husband Joe Kirk died April 16, 1975, and was interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery, in Hollywood Hills, CA. It is unclear if Marie Cristillo Kirk was later interred near her husband.
