Clara Smith, 76, died Tuesday m orning at the Palmer Memorial Hospital in West Union after a brief illness.
Survivors in addition to her husband are two sons, Claude Jr. of Independence and Gordon of Fayette; a brother, Ed Cordes of Monona; a sister, Ella Dummermuth of West Union; three grandchildren; and six great-grandsons.
Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church. Burial: Strawberry Point Cemetery. Friends may call at Becker-Milnes’ after 2 p.m. today.
