Ruth Eloise Crouch, age 85 of Traverse City, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on May 31, 2015.
She was the cherished wife of the late Doranda. Devoted mother of Sharon (Jim) Goldasich, Don (Joyce), Pam (Barry) Arsenault, Lorraine (John) Johnson and Cathy (Jim) Harrigan. Dear grandma of Chad (Deborah) Conant, Aaron (Lauren) Goldasich, Abigail Goldasich, Peyton Goldasich, Shayne Arsenault, Crystal Thomas, Amber (Matt) Piotroski, Matthew (Christina) Crouch, Amanda (Kyle) Crouch, Jennifer (Pete) Miller, Kathryn (Dave) Lawson, Gayle Gunther, E.J. Harrigan, Erika Harrigan, Ruth Ann Harrigan and Kelby Harrigan. Great grandma of Logan and Sydney Conant, Elloise and Milo Thomas, Hannah and Natalie Crouch, Lily, Isaiah and Samuel Lawson, Korey and Hailey Gunther, Fox and Jack Harrigan, Ian, Maxx and Kaylie Harrigan, Katelynn and David Harrigan. Sister of Donna Harrington and the late Elsie, Merry, Corky, Marilyn and Hazel. Sister in law of Eleanor Harrigan and Helen Crouch. She is also preceded in death by her mother; Hazel Cox and great grandaughter; Marcela Olive Miller.
Eloise treasured her garden, watching birds, traveling, cooking, dancing and playing cards. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015; 5-8pm at Covell Funeral Home, Kingsley. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015; 11am with visitation one hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions made to the National Kidney Foundation are appreciated.
