THE PARIS NEWS, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3, 2015, PAGE 3 - Johnnie Faye Horton, 77 of Powderly, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. on Thursday at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mishayla Brewer officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born in Ravenna, Texas, on May 28, 1938, to John and Pauline May Finley. She married Loyd Lee Horton on Jan. 15, 1955, in Clinton, Texas. She was a member of Chicota Assembly of God.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years; her children; numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends; brother; and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Pauline Finley; and sisters, Barbara Harper and Polly Hicks.
