Martha Jacque Haman Wynn, 84, of Tifton went to her Heavenly Home Saturday, June 20, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, in the Sanctuary of Tifton’s First Baptist Church with Dr. W. Wayne Roe and Rev. James Morris Roberts officiating. Mrs. Wynn will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, June 22, 2015, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Tifton's First Baptist Church.
Bill Evans, Mike Evans, Keith Wynn, Kelly Wynn, Gary Vowell, Austin Vowell and Luke Jordan will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Wynn’s colleagues at First Community Bank in Tifton and members of the Mary Youmans Sunday school class at Tifton’s First Baptist Church.

Martha was born July 12, 1930 in Sumner, the daughter of James Williamson Haman and Martha Jane Sutton Haman, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Leonard Lorie Wynn, who she married June 14, 1953 at Mystic Baptist Church. She was the youngest of eight girls and is also preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Millie Haman, Mary Lou and Perry Dukes, Ethelle and Charles Spencer, Willie Kate and Lloyd Evans, Addine Morgan, Elizabeth and Edgar Sims and Myra Nell Roberts. Martha grew up in Mystic and graduated from Irwin County High School and attended Georgia College for Women in Milledgeville.

Martha was a bank teller at First Community Bank in Tifton for 30 years. Martha also achieved the level of President’s Club as an Avon representative and Silver Level as a Nikken consultant, working at home part-time. She taught crocheting and needlepoint and was a perfectionist seamstress, sewing for friends and family. She loved crossword puzzles, baking her famous pecan pies and was committed to serving others. Martha was a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church and was a devoted, loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Martha is survived by her daughter and son-in-law of Tifton; three grandchildren and their spouses, all of Tifton; three great grandchildren; one brother-in-law and his wife of Ocilla; and one sister-in-law of Fitzgerald.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to Tifton's First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 404 Love Avenue, Tifton, GA 31794.
