She was a native of Bulloch County. She had lived in Savannah for 30 years before moving to Midway 28 years ago. She retired from Lake George Water Co. after 25 years of service. She was a member of Fleming Baptist Church and Faith Sunday School Class and Limrick Ladies Club. She was the widow of Lenzie R. Ellison.
SURVIVORS: a daughter, Rhonda Conley of Midway; two sisters, Maggie Roof of Great Falls, S.C., and Jeanette Hall of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
