A resident and native of Brusly, she passed away at 3 p.m Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at her daughter's home in Baton Rouge. She was 76 and a homemaker. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home in Port Allen on Friday, Aug. 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Matt Lorrain, celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
Survived by a daughter, Lisa Prejean, Baton Rouge; four sons and two daugthers-in-law, Wayne and Cherie Prejean, Port Allen, Daniel Prejean, Brusly, Mark and Donna Prejean, Prairieville, and Alan Prejean, Madisonville; a sister, Miriam A. Hebert, of Alabama; a brother, Joseph Alexander, of Woodbridge, Va.; and nine grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Prejean Sr.; parents, Clifford and Amelia "Deuce" LeJeune Alexander; a sister, Beryl Dupuy; and brother, Curtis Alexander.
