Born Oct. 7, 1901, in Lane County.
He married Orpha Shumate in August, 1922, at Ness City.
He was owner of a shoe store and had been, a life-long resident here.
Mr. Stormont was a member of the United
Methodist Church, Dighton, Masonic Lodge,
IOOF, OES, and Modern Woodmen.
Survivors include the widow; one daughter,
Mrs. Helen Browne, Duluth, Minn.; two sisters,
Mrs. Ethel McGaugh, Mount Pleasiant, Mich.,
and Mrs.. Esther Royalty Wichita; three grandchildren
Funeral services for Frank L. Stormont, 69,
Dighton, were this afternoon at the
Niles-Zenor Funeral Home, Dighton, the
Rev. Robert Vance officiating. Burial was in
Memorial Cemetery, Dighton.
The family suggests memorials in care of
the First National Bank, Dighton
