Ambrosia "Ambie" Valdez Hutt, 77, of Taos died on June 22, 2015. Ambie was born in 1937 to parents Jose Remijo Valdez and Juanita Branch Valdez. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Hutt; daughter, Ellie Hutt; grandson, Anthony Padillla Hutt; brothers, Hilario, Valentin, and Ben Valdez; brothers-in-law, Ray Roybal and George Hutt and sister-in-law, Janet Hutt. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Hutt; grandsons, Jerome Hutt and Paul Miera; sisters, Ruby Roybal and Aneda Trujillo (Juan B.); brother, Deacon Daniel Valdez (Norma); sister-in-law, Sister Mary Denise Hutt; brother-in-law, Joseph Hutt; special friends, Rita Uriiste, Pauline Holmes, and Julian Robles, numerous nephews and nieces, friends and relatives. Rosary was recited on June 24, 2015. Funeral mass was held on June 25, 2015. Both were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with interment following at the Dolores Cemetery in Canon.
