Mrs. Elsie O. McCracken, sixty-nine, formerly of 243 East Clay Street, died at 6:30 a.m. yesterday in Harrisburg after a weeks illness. She was the widow of Lorenzo S. McCracken who died in 1950.

Born in Manheim, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Martha Boyer. She attended the Ross Street Methodist Church.

Surviving are these children: M. Catherine, wife of Russell D. Allen, Elizabethtown; Donald L., Coatesville; E. Jean, wife of Stephen Aument, Lancaster; William H., Akron; and Jerome R., York. Also surviving are five grandchildren, a sister, Gertrude, wife of Walter S Bashore, Manheim; and a step-sister, Lillian, wife of Chalmer Armstrong, Willow Street.
