Jimmy Lynn Gillham, 76, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., passed away Sept. 10, 2014.

Jimmy was born in Commerce to JD and Frankie Gillham and later was raised in Greenville.


Jimmy graduated from Greenville High School in 1955; in 1956 he started working at (LTV Electric Systems, E-Systems) Raytheon Corporation. He started out on flight line, purchasing, accounting and became controller and finance manager. While working he went to college and graduated from East Texas State University at Commerce in 1966.

He enjoyed golf and other sports and he worshipped his grandchildren.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 26 years, Dana Sullivan Gillham; son Kevin Gillham; daughter Ashley and husband Brent Johnson; grandchildren Jack and Georgia; stepdaughter Becky and husband David Packer; stepgranddaughter Averie and husband James Grant; stepgreat-granddaughters Cori and Alli; stepgrandson Jacob Packer; brother JD Jr. and wife Norma Gillham; sister-in-law Guille Gillham; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dorothy Smith, brother Nelton Gillham, and daughter Carri Lynn Gillham.

Memorial services will be at MemoryLand Memorial Park in Greenville Sunday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Mark Mullins of Bible Missionary Church officiating.

Memorials may be made in Jimmy’s honor to a favorite charity.

Arrangements have been entrusted to CedarVale Funeral Home in Hot Springs Village, Ark.
