GRACE HERRMANN MATNEY, 86

Grace Herrmann Matney, 86, Centerville, Ind., died Wednesday, April 5, 1989 in the home of her daughter at 419 E Main Street, Centerville, Ind.

She was born in 1902 in Jefferson County, Ind., the daughter of James Oliver and Isabel Glenn Robbins. She was a member of the Andersonville Church of the Nazarene and lived in the Andersonville and Milroy communities many years. She moved to Centerville, Ind., three years ago.

She was first married to Howard W. Herrmann, and he preceded her in death in November of 1972. She married Earl Matney and he preceded her in death in November of 1985. She is survived by two sons, Donald Herrmann, Laurel, Ind., and Jerry Herrmann, Marion, Ind.; four daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Lois) Noah, Buena vista, Ind., Mrs. Paul (Aljean) Bender, Indianapolis, Mrs. Everett (Anita) Quinton, Laurel, Ind., and Mrs. Donald (Doris) Williams, Centerville, Ind.; two brothers, John Robbins, Rushville, Ind., and Marshall Robbins, Sabina, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Baker, Clarksburg; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville, Ind., with the Rev. Robert Malone presiding.

Burial will be in the Mt. Laurel Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Memorials may be given to the Andersonville Church of the Nazarene.
