Doris E. Seifert, 84, of Dillsboro, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

She was born Tuesday, June 18, 1929 in Dillsboro, Indiana, the daughter of the late Claude Seifert and the late Edna Klinkerman Seifert.

Doris worked as a lineworker for Seagrams, retiring after over 37 years of service. She was a member of the Seagrams Retiree Club.

She was a 1947 graduate of Dillsboro High School, and a member of the Dillsboro Presbyterian Church, where she served on several committees. Doris enjoyed her flower garden, and she loved Christmas. She also enjoyed taking care of her nieces and nephews, and will be missed by them greatly.

Surviving are nephews: Jerry Stanley of Dillsboro, IN, William "Kenny" Stanley of Rising Sun, IN; niece, Laura Ann Lyons of Aurora, IN; several great nieces and nephews; three first cousins.

She was preceded in death by parents; sister, Betty Stanley; nephew, Donald Stanley; niece, Bonnie Walston.

Friends will be received 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the funeral home at 3 p.m. immediately following visitation with Pastor Tom Fehrman officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro, IN 47018.
