Friday afternoon at four o'clock Mrs. H.C. Caswell, a lady well known in the city, died at the residence of John R..Forbes, corner of Jackson and Park street after an illness extending through a number of days. Up to the time of being taken ill the lady was in tolerable health and bad expressed the intention of attending church one Sunday evening when she was taken with nervous prostration, became so she could not speak, and to all appearances was partially paralyzed. From this condition up to the time of her demise, she never recovered, and just prior to her death was taken with several violent spasms,

The deceased was a lady about 35 years of age and wife of Harry C. Caswell, a gentleman well known in this city. She leaves three children aged fourteen, ten and two. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal church and a lady of many engaging qualities and of a disposition that made her circle of acquaintances extensive and her friends numerous.

The date of the funeral has not been definitely decided upon as it has not been learned at what time .Mrs. McAllister. a sister of the deceased. can arrive from her home in western Minnesota.
