Juanita Orona was born in Lerdo, Durango, Mexico to Miguel Orona and Santos Vargas Orona in 1897 or 1898. She was an only child. She married Felix M. Lopez (probable date 15 August, 1914) in Lerdo. She moved with her husband and first child to El Paso, Texas and had seven more children. She lived in El Paso until the 1950's and then moved to Alameda County, California where she lived until her death in 1980. She was a warm and loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved children and little dogs and had a wonderful laugh. She is dearly missed by all who knew her. Thank you to Kay for taking the headstone photo.
