Helen Elizabeth Rutherford, 71 of Conley, GA, daughter of Frank C. and Lorene Hayes Boggs, passed on July 27, 2015 from complications due to a stroke. Loving wife of Carl P. Rutherford and mother of Peter J. Rutherford and Samantha L. Zavala. She is preceded in death by her father and survived by her mother of Iva, SC, her husband Carl, son Peter and wife Laura of Danielsville, and daughter Samantha and husband Baltazar Zavala of Atlanta. She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Nolan of Aston, PA; Beth (Herbert) McCoy of Greenwood, SC; Daisy McKee of Iva, SC; Brenda (Allan) Balchin of Iva, SC; brothers, Frank (Kathy) Boggs of Duluth, GA; Donnie (Pat) Boggs of Greenwood; and John Boggs of Iva, SC; and grandchildren, Michael Rutherford, Jennifer Lee, Stella, and Elena Zavala. Funeral will be Saturday, Aug. 1st at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 4465 Northside Dr. Atl., GA, 30327. In her honor, donations to The Ga. Eye Bank, or N.I.N.D.S., or small flowers arrangements are acceptable.
