Daniel was the son of Andrew & Louise (Williams) Bradley. He married Mary "Mamie" Holland and she died giving birth to their only child, a son, who died shortly after birth. He later married Alice Vilinte Nichol. They had no children, but reared two nephews, one from his side and one from hers.
