Mr. Hyde was a Baptist, served in the United States Navy during WWII and was a retired Brakeman with Illinois Central Rail Road having worked 46 years. He belonged to the Haleyville Masonic Lodge 464 for 60 years, serving as Secretary for 37 years. He taught multitudes their Masonic lesson's, and belonged to the Zamora Shrine.
His visitation will be Sunday August 2, 2015 from 3:00PM - 4:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, with Masonic Funeral at 4:00PM in the chapel. Burial will in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Corbett and Lillie Hyde; wife, Jimmie Nell Hyde; daughter, Paula Hyde; son in law, Paul McNutt; brother, Joe Hyde; sister, Gayle Hyde.
