CANA, VA ~ Mrs. Judy C. Woods, age 68, of Old Goodspur Trail, died on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center.
She was born August 6, 1946 in Surry County to the late Carl Ray and Ethel Willard Norman.
Mrs. Woods was retired from Proctor-Silex and LS Starrett and was a member of Wesleyan Church in Mt.Airy.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Douglas Woods; daughter & son-in-law: Margaret Ann & Darrell Johnson of Dobson, NC; son & daughter-in-law: Bobby Ray & Falicity Freeman of Low Gap, NC; grandchildren: Kimberly Elizabeth Freeman, Carl Everett Freeman & Carly June Johnson; sisters & husbands: Debbie & Jeff Darnell of Elkin, NC, Glenda & Tommy Cain of Pilot Mtn., NC, Gail & Maynard Horton of Claudville, VA; brother, H.R. Knott of Mt. Airy, NC; stepmother, Sarah Norman of Mt. Airy, NC; many special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by her sister, Genevieve Martin, and brother, Michael Ray Norman.
Funeral Services will be held, Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Howell Funeral Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Pastor Richard Loman with interment to follow at Skyline Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 6th from 6-8 p.m. at Howell Funeral Service of Mt. Airy.
