Evelyn Marie Gleason, 83, of OKC, was born on Feb. 10, 1923 in Silverpoint, TN to W.H. & Bertha Maynard. Evelyn passed away on July 23, 2006 at the Tuttle Care Center in Tuttle, OK. She was a member of South Walker Church of Christ in OKC. Evelyn was a true Southerner, who was extremely proud of her roots. Her first love was her family. Evelyn is survived by, her husband of 38 yrs Robert P. Gleason; son, Kenneth Morrell & wife Judy of Hobart, OK; 3 daughters, Linda Burcham of Mustang, OK, Diane Bircher & husband Ron of Thayne, WY, and Alice Kilgore & husband Ralph of Tuttle, OK, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services are 10:00am, Wed., July 26, 2006 at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, located at 120 S. Broadway in Moore, OK. Interment to follow to Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK.
