Mrs. Nancy Anderson Dies, Result of Fall
Mrs. Nancy J. Anderson, 89, for 28 years a resident of Arkansas City, died at 10:30 o'clock last night at her residence, 527 North First street, as the result of injuries received in a fall several days ago. On April 8, Mrs. Anderson slipped and fell while at her home and fractured a hip. Since that time she has been bedfast. She made her home with son Claude Anderson. She was the widow of the late William A. Anderson, who died here Jan. 10, 1925. She was a native of Indiana and had resided in Kansas for many years. Besides the son Claude, another son, George Anderson of Sumner county, west of Arkansas City, and one daughter, Mrs. Harrnho of Kalamazoo, Mich. survive.
Arrangements for the funeral have not been made today, pending word from the daughter. Oldroyd is in charge.
