Waynesburg millwright and construction foreman

C. Ronald Lemley, 55, of 543 Kirby Road, Waynesburg, died at 3:30 p. m. Tuesday, April 10, 2001, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.

He was born September 21, 1945, in Waynesburg, a son of Margaret Fox Lemley of Waynesburg and the late Don V. Lemley.

Mr. Lemley worked as a millwright and in construction. He worked for Irey Construction Co. and Pharnam & Phile Construction Co. as a foreman.

He was a member of Disabled American Veterans 123, Waynesburg Moose Lodge 461, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4793 and James Farrell American Legion Post 330, all of Waynesburg, and United Mine Workers Local.

On August 26, 1985, he married Lena Mitchell, who died February 5, 1995.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two daughters, Donna Kay Metcalf and Robin Henderson, both of Waynesburg; a son, Don A. Lemley of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Heidi and Brandi Henderson and Caitlin Metcalf; a stepdaughter, Tammy Adamson of Waynesburg; a stepson, Craig Johnson of Greensboro; five stepgrandchildren, Amy, Jesica (sic) and Becky Adamson and Craig and Ayrel Johnson; several stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister, Ellen Kay Berryhill of New Milford, Conn.; a brother, Kevin D. Lemley of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a son, C. Ronald Lemley II; and a sister, Donna Lee Singer.
