Clarence Guy Alexander, age 80, of Brownwood, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Clarence Guy Alexander was born on February 7, 1935 in Bangs, Texas to William Clyde and Lena Tessman Alexander.
On June, 16, 1961, he married Mary Ann Bond in Santa Anna, Texas and she preceded in him in death in 2011. Guy was a retired district manager for Sears and a member of the Victory Baptist Church. Mr. Alexander passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in Brownwood Regional Medical Center at the age of 80.

Survivors include his daughters Paula Hudgens and husband Ricky of Andrews, Texas, Shelly Alexander of Bedford, Texas; sons Gregory Guy Alexander and wife Fatima of Panama, Rex Harold Alexander and wife Susan of Andrews; brothers Marion Alexander and wife Jeanette of Desoto, Texas, Charles Alexander of Bangs; sisters Ida Mae Poprick of El Paso, Texas, Lee Davenport and husband Ed of Dallas, Texas; sister-in-law Lenora Alexander of Bangs; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and by numerous nieces and nephews. Also, by his special lady Sandra Arnold of Brownwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Lena Alexander, wife Mary Ann Alexander, brothers Pete and C.B. Alexander.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Melton, Delaney Perry, Layne Harmon, Rodney Guthrie, Mason Guthrie and Mark Calaway.
Honorary pallbearers are Nathan Price, Dennis Benson, Roy Allison and Conner Guthrie.
