Mrs Jessie A Dawes, 3428 College Avenue, died yesterday at the St Joseph Hospital after an illness of three days. Mrs Dawes had been a resident here all her life and was a member of the Annunciation Catholic church.

She leaves her husband George A Dawes of the home; three daughters, Mrs Lucille DiCanzio, Arlington, Virginia, Mrs Rosemary Bales, 5910 Kenwood Avenue, and Mrs Adella Spann, 3418 East Fifty-ninth Street; a son, George Q Dawes, St Louis; four sisters, Mrs Katherine Proctor, Los Angeles, Mrs Theresa Fanshier, Glendale, California, Mrs Rose Smith, Springfield, Missouri, and Mrs Cecelia Curley, 925 West Thirty-third Street and six grandchildren.
