Newark Valley: Albert Cornwell, 76, of Newark Valley, laid into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Wilson Hospital.

Albert was born on January 27, 1936 to the late Harold and Lola Cornwell.

He was predeceased by five brothers; three sisters; and granddaughter, Becky Lynn Brady.

Albert is survived by his wife of 50 plus years.....; children.....; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister.....; longtime companion..... and her granddaughter.....; along with several special friends; nieces and nephews.

Albert was happiest working on the farm, working on cars, as well as being in the woods. He spent many years working with the late Art Hollenbeck of Candor on the farm. He was a true country boy at heart and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. We love you and miss you Albert.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 PM at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego with Rev. Mark Osborne officiating.

Family invites friends to call from 1 to 1:45 PM prior to the services at the funeral home. Condolences may be made to the family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com
