Debra Lynn Polzin, 54, of Florida, formerly of Peshtigo, WI passed away Sunday morning, July 26 at Cornerstone Hospice facility in The Villages, Florida. She was born June 22, 1961 in Menominee, Mi., to Loren Polzin and Janet Ann (nee Felker) Polzin.
She graduated from Peshtigo High School and earned a Certified Nursing Assistant certification from NWTC. She worked as a CNA for Marinette County in Peshtigo, WI prior to helping in her family's furniture business in Peshtigo.
She moved to Florida in 2003 where she made friends quickly. A caring person, she had a soft spot in her heart for people and animals who needed love and help.
She is survived by her mother, Janet;
a sister Lori Bednarz;
a niece, Wendy;
a nephew, Lee;
many aunts; uncles; cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Loren.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at Hope Lutheran Church in the near future with inurnment in Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Marinette in spring.
