HARMESON, Mary E. Passed away peacefully in her home July 10th at the age of 82. On Sept. 3rd, 1949, she married the love of her life, Roy S. Harmeson, who preceded her in death on Oct. 25th, 1994. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Nancy K. Gallant (Rick), and Susan M. Nickoson. Two sons; Tim and Steve, Six grandchildren; Matt Harmeson, Jennifer, Ricky, and Melissa Gallant, Michelle Harmeson, and Sarah Nickoson, one great grandchild, Hailey Gallant, sister-in-law Nancy Minnick (Joe) and many dear friends. Also preceding her in death, daughter Peggy, son- in- law John Nickoson, daughter- in- law Judy Harmeson, and sister Kathryn Furey. Mary graduated from St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing in Youngstown Ohio. She has devoted her entire life of caring for the sick as well as her family. She retired in 1988 as the director of Nursing at the University of Dayton after 20 years of service. She was a devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 am, July 19th at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mary's name to The Marianist Mission, 4435 E. Patterson Rd., Dayton, Ohio, 45481.
