Obituary from the Wednesday, July 19,1917 Baltimore American--page 10;

"MRS. MARY ELLEN IGO---The funeral of Mrs. Mary Ellen Igo, who died Monday evening at her home 1611 St. Paul St., will take place tomorrow morning at St. Ignatius Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Bonnie Brae Cemetery.

Mrs. Igo had been a resident of Baltimore for more than 60 years, and had come to this city from Liverpool, where she was born 14 years before. Her husband was Michael Igo, a grocer of this city, who died 30 years ago. Her father served in the British Army about 64 years ago, and fought in the Battle of Waterloo, and in the South African wars participated by the British. She is survived by three daughters, Anna C., Florence, and Clara Igo, and a son, J. Harry Igo."
