Major League Baseball Player. He was a pitcher in seven seasons for the Philadelphia Phillies. One of his best years was 1963 when he posted a 2.93 ERA. On August 15, 1964 he was credited with an assist on a rare triple-play against the Mets. In 171 career games, Boozer won 14, lost 16 with a lifetime 4.09 ERA.
