Karie K. Wong, 32, Noblesville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, in Indianapolis, after a courageous battle against breast cancer.

Born June 7, 1983, she is the daughter to Robert and Julie (Schrader) Marchese who survive.

On Oct. 7, 2006, she married Kyle B. Wong at All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport.

Karie enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother. She graduated from Lewis Cass High School in 2001 and from Purdue with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2005. At Purdue she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega. Karie loved being a mother. She was an avid reader, enjoyed being out on the water and spending time with her friends and family.

Surviving along with her husband, Kyle, are their daughter, Lilly; son, Landon, Noblesville; father and mother, Robert and Julie Marchese, Logansport; one brother, Brad (Hayley) Marchese, Kokomo; father and mother-in-law, Wesley and Robin Wong, Carmel; brothers-in-law, Matthew (Kelly) McNairy, Fishers, Taylor Wong, New York City; sister-in-law, Caitlin Wong, Indianapolis; maternal grandfather, Henry H. Schrader, Logansport; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Amy Marchese, Kokomo; paternal grandmother, Janet Kyes, Macy; and several aunts, uncles and extended family who love her dearly.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Valerie; and maternal grandmother, Kay "Meme" Schrader.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Gundrum Funeral Home.
