ALBION – Cynthia Lee Hall, 63, of Albion, born on November 14, 1951, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Waterville, on Nov. 14, 1951, the fourth child of nine born to Kenneth Winston Hall and Patricia Ann (Day) Hall. That same year, the family bought a farmhouse in Albion, where they raised all nine kids (five boys, four girls). She moved back to the family farmhouse two years ago, which is where she resided until her untimely death.

Cindy attended Lawrence High School and graduated in 1970. Immediately upon graduation, she began working at New England Telephone Company. It was while working there that she met her future husband Bernard "Bunny" Williams, Jr., through her brother Doug. "Bunny" and Cindy got married in 1975, and her pride and joy, Jarrod R. Williams, their only child, was born in May of that year.

She went on to work at several jobs, the highlights including Tracy's restaurant in Winslow, Rocky Shore Camps in Oakland, and at the Holiday Inn in Waterville for many years. It was while working at the Holiday Inn that Cindy was able to travel around and train other wait staffs that she realized how much she enjoyed travelling, especially to Florida. She was able to purchase the Avion trailer known as the 'Silver Bullet' at Town and Country trailer park in Sanford, Fla. from her parents, where she was able to winter as much as possible over the following years making numerous friends in the park, specifically Ladeena, Gary and Jane. Numerous nights were spent at 'Bums Corner' enjoying everyone's company.

During her later years she had the opportunity to travel the country with her longtime boyfriend Brian Swett who drove trucks, which brought her great pleasure and numerous stories. In the last years of her life, she spent most of her time babysitting the boys at Williams Roofing, and everybody there called her "Momsey." She will be greatly missed by them all.

Cindy was a colorful person, who lit up a room just by entering it, with her vivacious personality. She enjoyed spending her free time traveling the State of Maine watching her son play baseball, volunteering as a Cub Scout leader, helping with the football boosters at Winslow High School and fishing with her granddaughters, Jaiden and Jordin. She also enjoyed making pickles, gardening, doing crafts, going for walks and visiting with all of her family and friends. She enjoyed collecting turtles and was an avid reader who could usually be found with a book in her hand. Her biggest love, though, was her family and spending time with loved ones.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends, including her beloved son, Jarrod Williams and his wife, Jody; granddaughters Jaiden and Jordin of Brewer; her siblings Mike and Pam Hall of Brunswick, Doug and Terry Hall, Marty Hall and K.J. Hall of Albion, Tracy Hall of Freedom, Tommy and Karen Hall of Pownal; several nieces and nephews; cousins; and her two best friends Bernard "Bunny" Williams of Cannan and Jolene Bonnell of Oakland. She will be missed by more friends than anyone could count, which is part of the wonderful legacy she leaves behind.

She was predeceased by her best friend and sister Candy Crommett who she took numerous trips to Florida with which were some of the highlights of her life, her sister Kelly who unfortunately passed away at a young age; and her parents Kenneth and Patricia Hall.

She will always be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother, a delightful friend, and a colorfully fun human being, who added her own unique style and sparkle to the world, and she will be deeply missed.

A graveside service will be at the Hall Family Cemetery on the Quimby Road in Albion.

In honor of Cindy's memory, the family asks that donations be made to the Albion Food Pantry in her name, as this was something close to her heart. (Central Maine Newspapers 9/17/2015)
