Elizabeth was the daughter of Robert Page Waller Morris and Elizabeth Statham.

She married Elmer N. Whyte in Duluth, Minnesota on Sept. 28, 1909. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and an older brother, Charles.

Santa Cruz Sentinel, Fri 5 May 1967: Elizabeth Whyte Died Yesterday. Mrs. Elizabeth Whyte died yesterday in a local hospital at the age of 80 after a short illness. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena. Friends may call at White's chapel, 138 Walnut avenue, until 9 p.m. tomorrow. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Duluth, Minn. Survivors include two sons, Robert Whyte of Boulder Creek and John Whyte of Pasadena; two sisters, Mrs. Page Gilbert of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Mary Anderson of Washington, D.C. She also is survived by three grandchildren. A native of Virginia, Mrs. Whyte had lived in Pasadena for more than 30 years before she came to the Santa Cruz area a year ago to make her home with her son. She was a member of the All Saints Episcopal church of Pasadena.
