B. C. Cantrell Jr., 79
Morrison resident and Warren County native B. C. Cantrell, Jr., 79, died August 8 at his home after an eight-month illness. A retired welder with AEDC and a member of Rockliff Church of Christ , he served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. The son of Bernice Carl and Henderson Loretta Newby Cantrell, Sr., he was preceded in death by sons, William Anthony and Jim Cantrell and brother, Jack Cantrell. He is survived by his wife, Alice Golden Cantrell, son, B.C. (Bo) Cantrell, III of Mr. Zion, daughter, Kizzie Parson of Mt. Zion, grandchildren, Zack and Hannah Cantrell and Travis Parson, great-grandchild, Ivy Cantrell, and sister, Paulette Halstead of Madison. Services will be held at 11a.m. today at High's Chapel with Newton Gribble and Kip Green officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
