Marcella Cassard Chapman was born in Montreal, July 25, 1908, the daughter of Henry and Georgetta (Smith) Cassard. She grew up in Somerville, N.J. and married Bertrand W. Chapman in 1934. Mrs. Chapman, 100, died on Oct. 23 at her home in Burlington, VT following a brief illness.
