Toledo Blade Obituary published December 2, 1995 reads:
Leocadia C. (Zylka) Sadowski, 84, passed away December 1, 1995 at Heartland of Indian Lake.
She was the owner of Zylka's Market 30 years, retiring in 1963.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Stephen Zylka and Roman Sadowski.
She was a member of the American Legion Argonne Post #545 Auxiliary, the VFW Roman Buddy Frankowski Post #5530 Auxiliary, the Catholic War Vets Auxiliary, Jude Thaddeus Post Auxiliary, also a member of Toledo Women's Bowling Assoc.
Surviving are her children, Stephen (Shirley) Zylka and Mrs. Janice (John) Kowalski; sister, Mrs. Sally Antoszewski; also survived by 5 grandchildren, Mary, Mike, Matt, Steve Jr. and Julia; 2 great-grandchildren, Michael and Mike.
Friends may call at the Gasiorowski Memorial, Lagrange and Oakland, from 3-9 p.m. Sunday, where Prayer Services will be held at 5 p.m. and the American Legion Argonne Post Auxiliary Services at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be Monday, 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home, 10 a.m. at St. Adalberts Church. Final resting place Calvary Cemetery.
