Andrea Cozort, 74 of Beaver formerly of Glen Fork passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 following a short illness. Andrea attended the Piney Mission Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, fishing, deer hunting and being with her family and friends.

Born May 20, 1941 in Grundy County, TN the daughter of the late Andrew Layne (1918-1995) and Willie Mae Brown-Layne (1922-2017) of Gruetli-Laager, TN. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Cozort (Deceased); two grandsons, Travis Cozort (Deceased) and Glen Bailey (Deceased); and an infant sister, Sharlotte Ann Layne (1939–1939).

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Henry Cozort (B. 1938) whom she married on November 22, 1957 in Glen Fork, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Wyoming County, WV, 1957, Page 184, Application Date: November 16, 1957); two sons, Greg Cozort & wife Sandra Cozort of KY and Chris Cozort & wife Michelle Cozort of Daniels; four daughters, Rhonda Cozort-Bailey & husband Tom Bailey of Beckley, Tina Cozort-Morgan & husband Mike Morgan of Oceana, Lisa Cozort-Bailey & husband Steve Bailey of Buchannon, WV, and Stephenie Cozort-Fowler & husband Mike Fowler of China Grove, NC; three brothers, Hugh Layne of CA, Rodney Layne and Tim Layne both of Gruetli-Laager, TN; a sister, Teresa Layne of Gruetli-Laager, TN; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Glen Fork Church of God with the Rev. Darrell Stapleton officiating.
