Born to Godfrey and Geneva Goodwin. She had a rich and full life with parts spent in WA DC because her father was a Congressman from MN--1925-1933 attending dinners at the White House, touring the Panama Canal and a ride in the airplane of Charles Lindberg. She also drove her Dad's Packard while he practiced Campaigning speeches! She married John A Nelson, deceased, in 1933 located to CA in 1940 and then to Carlsbad in 1965 and started their own business: CA Van & Storage. On her 100th Birthday she was delighted by the celebration of her life from 60 family and friends.
