BOYD, THOMAS B., 80, of Dunedin, died Thursday (Nov. 5, 1998) at home under the care of Hospice. He was born in Jersey City, N.J., and came here in 1983 from New Jersey. He worked 42 years for Sears, Roebuck & Co. delivering furniture and appliances. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Dunedin. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Nellie; seven grandchildren, Thomas Portesy and Susan Portesy, both of Flanders, N.J., Gary Portesy, Palm Harbor, Debbie Bonomo, Lake Hopatcong, N.J., Pamela Knudson, Mine Hill, N.J., Colleen Luvender, New Port Richey, and Janet Lang, La Vergne Tenn.; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; three nieces; and a nephew.
