By his Michigan Death Certificate & a 1920 Federal Census, he was born in Canada-English. His Death Certificate records that he died in the town of Emmett, in the county of Calhoun. Apparently the town may not exhist anymore. He was Retired & his occupation was recorded as a Carpenter. Makes me wonder if he had the skills of an olld world carpenter. They had skills a carpenter today would wish he the knowledge of.
