Alexander J. Remenar was born in Czechoslovakia ;the son of
Ignatz Remenar and Mary Anna Sokal. He was the brother of:-
~ Marie Remenar Dapp,of Pittsburgh;
~ Iggie, of Millville.

He was the husband of Mary Subal and they were the parents of:-
~ Mrs. Michael [Bernadine] Kanuck, at home;
~ Mrs. John [Leona] Wojcik, Trenton, New Jersey;
~ Alex Remenar, Drums;
~ Mrs. Walter [Frances] Zemchak, Trenton, New Jersey.

He was a retired in 1945 as a coal miner for Jeddo-Highland Coal Company and car-runner for Hess Brothers Coal Company .

A long time resident of 37 Main Street, West Oakdale,Luzerne county,Pennsylvania,he passed away at the State Hospital in Hazelton.

The R.J. McNulty Funeral Home, Freeland were in charge of the arrangements and following a high mass of requiem in St. John's R.C. Church Cemetery,burial was made at the Calvary Cemetery,in Drums PA
