Selma Allman Gowens died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1986 in Spartanburg General Hospital. Native of Georgia and wife of Math Norton Gowens. Daughter of John and Cordelia Potter Allman and active member of Hayne Baptist Church. Charter member of Lone Oak Eastern Chapter Number 206, and member of Loyal Star. Survivors included: two daughters; a sister; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was 80 years of age at her demise and interment was in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
