*On the 10th day of November, 1861, Rachel Ann, wife of Benjamin Beaver, died, and was buried in Grove cemetery at Kenton. On the 24th day of February, 1863, he married Miss Louisa Smith, who was born in Licking Co., Ohio on the 10th day of October, 1837. She was the daughter of James Smith and Sarah Masters, his wife.

It was on the 15th day of February, 1865, that Benjamin Beaver removed from Hardin Co to the farm now occupied by his relict, Mrs Louisa Beaver, called Pleasant View.
