Mrs. Rose Mae Bowman, of 1013 N. Thirteenth St., died at 6:30 p.m. yesterday at her residence following a long illness. She was 69 years old.

Mrs. Bowman was the wife of Albert Bowman and had resided in Springfield for many years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Charles Albert, Springfield; six daughters, Mrs. Rose Williams, Joilet; Mrs. Eva Jones, Redondo Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Catherine Biesenthal, Mrs. Margaret Sponsler, Mrs. Cecila Howe and Mrs. Alice Conavay, all of Springfield; three brothers, Charles, Walter and Paul DeCroix, all of Springfield; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were at Ellinger & Kunz funeral home.

Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery.
