Army Sgt. Lee M. Godbolt, 23, of New Orleans; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 141st Field Artillery Regiment, Louisiana Army National Guard, New Orleans; killed March 26 when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee while he was on patrol in Baghdad. Also killed was Sgt. Isiah J. Sinclair. He is survived by his mother, Denise Ellis Godbolt; a brother, Charley M. Godbolt Jr.; and his grandmother, Estelle Godbolt. He was 23.
